Pride and Prejudice (Penguin Classics)

Pride and Prejudice (Penguin Classics) - Vivien Jones, Tony Tanner, Claire Lamont, Jane Austen Granted I had to read this for English, I kind of like this. The story was genuinely interesting and the way it was written was perfectly beautiful but I kind of rushed my way through it because in all honesty, I'd rather read something else. I can see its beauty buts its not really my type of story. I enjoyed the second half of this book substanially more with the excitement with Lydia. Definetly had to be the best part for me apart from ALL the scenes involving Mr Darcy. Asides from Elizabeth, he was by far the best character. He was so believable. It was so easy to see him in all these situations. Even the parts where he was confessing his love it stayed in character.
This book is like 200 years old and I believe it will always remain a favourite. I wouldn't say I loved this book but it was lovely. It made me want to read some other classics... just not at the moment. :P
